Fujifilm takes virtualization technology to next level

The company is already an experienced virtualization provider with dozens of fully-virtualized Synapse® environments (PACS, RIS, Cardiovascular) successfully implemented across the U.S. Now, to further bolster its virtualization capabilities, Fujifilm has added several achievements including becoming the first PACS vendor to officially validate its virtualization solution at VMware corporate headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif.

• Formalized its five-year relationship with VMware and is now an official Technology Alliance partner (TAP) program member.

• Developed in-house virtualization expertise with VMware certified professional (VCP) and certified design expert (VCX) designations achieved by numerous staff.
