European eHealth project HAMAM to exhibit at ICT 2010 and VPH2010 conferences in Brussels

BRUSSELS, BE – (HealthTech Wire / News) – The European eHealth project “Highly Accurate Breast Cancer Diagnosis through Integration of Biological Knowledge, Novel Imaging Modalities and Modelling” (HAMAM) has confirmed its participation in two European eHealth events in Brussels, Belgium. HAMAM will use the events to present its activities and the results achieved so far.

At ICT 2010 (Brussels, 27th – 29th September) HAMAM will focus on the “Digital fight against breast cancer". ICT 2010 is organised by the European Commission, and will be a meeting point for researchers, business people, investors and high-ranking policy makers in the field of digital innovation. HAMAM will also present itself at the first of a series of international VPH Conferences (VPH2010), which will be organised by the Virtual Physiological Human Network of Excellence with the support of the European Commission ICT for Health / DG Information Society and Media (Brussels, September 30th – October 1st). HAMAM - Highly Accurate Breast Cancer Diagnosis through Integration of Biological Knowledge, Novel Imaging Modalities and Modelling - consists of 9 project partners from 7 countries with leading expertise in the field of breast imaging diagnosis, with EIBIR as the coordinating partner. The 3-year project started in September 2008 and is supported by the European Commission with a financial contribution of €3.6m.
