The self-service check-in tool helps reduce administrative costs for hospitals, while minimizing the risk of data error. Patients identify themselves, check in and sign documents electronically - without going through the traditional hospital administration desks. Already launched in the United States, it is now being introduced in Europe.

Enhancing the patient information stream

Very easy for patients to use
IMPAX KIOSK is very intuitive for patients to use. When they arrive at the Radiology Department, they identify themselves directly on IMPAX KIOSK, view and confirm their demographic and insurance information and electronically sign documents. IMPAX KIOSK includes multi-language options;. For security, the patient data is not stored in IMPAX KIOSK itself, and a privacy filter can also be added that prevents others from viewing the screen.
Fully integrated into IMPAX RIS
IMPAX KIOSK is fully integrated into Agfa HealthCare's IMPAX radiology information system (RIS) and IMPAX Scheduling, making real-time updates of patient status accessible.
