Carestream Health Italy consolidates operations at Genoa

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - (HealthTech Wire / News) - Carestream Health announced the transfer of its headquarters based at Cinisello Balsamo in the Province of Milan to its Technology and Innovation Centre (T&IC) in Genoa.

This is a significant move for Carestream Italy and emphasizes the importance the company places on developing synergies between its commercial, technical and service operations to help its customers deliver better patient care. The centre hosts more than 5,000 visits annually from clinicians, radiologists, radiographers and other professionals and this move to integrate the commercial functions of the company can only enhance the role of the centre within the international medical radiology arena.
    
Located in the ancient harbour district in two historic buildings, San Lorenzo and San Desiderio, the facility is staffed by experts in diagnostic imaging, IT and integration technologies who deliver top quality education and training programmes, as well as professional services and support to healthcare customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Within the facility visitors can not only view current medical imaging and healthcare IT platforms, but also upcoming new product releases and receive practical demonstrations on new digital solutions.
 
The T&IC is also the European hub for Carestream Health’s service infrastructure where remote proactive monitoring of customer systems takes place to ensure peak efficiency with maximum system uptime. This specialised team also monitors service data from around the globe with the aim of recommending future equipment modifications to improve performance and increase uptime.
