BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - (HealthTech Wire / News) - IHE-Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Lapo Bertini as the new vendor Co-Chair for IHE-Europe (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise). Bertini will represent the vendor members of IHE in close cooperation with IHE-Europe’s user Co-Chair, Jacqueline Surugue.

Lapo Bertini comes from a major Italian healthcare software solutions firm Dedalus and brings with him over 20 years’ experience in healthcare imaging and computer software, including 15 years in executive and managerial positions. Bertini has been a strong supporter of IHE since its early stages. Bertini already plays an active role in IHE globally, serving as IHE-Italy vendor Co-Chair and representative of IHE-Europe in the IHE International Board. Bertini succeeds Siemens’ representative Peter Kuenecke, who served as vendor Co-Chair from 2006-2011.
Towards greater healthcare IT interoperability in Europe
