Automatic mapping of datasets from different source systems to a single patient ID

With a sophisticated, powerful algorithm ICW MPI automates mapping datasets from different source systems to a single patient identity (ID). Once assigned the ID allows the aggregation of all data related to a single insurant. The centerpiece of ICW MPI is a probability-based matching algorithm, that is even capable of recognizing complex data constellations with high degree of automation and reliability. Additionally, ICW MPI offers a browser-based user interface that allows users to review mappings manually in order to monitor matching quality continuously.

"Thanks to our sophisticated technology we are pleased to succeed against major competitors", said Peter Kirschbauer, CEO of ICW. "ICW's ongoing commitment to a strict adherence to international eHealth standards like HL7 and IHE now pays off in the US market.“

Blue KC is part of the BlueCross & BlueShield Association (BCBSA), that consists of 38 independently operating member companies attending overall 99 million insurants.
